FC Bayern Munich e.V. is a multi-sport association based in Munich, the capital of Bavaria, Germany. Founded on February 27, 1900, its most famous affiliate is Fußball-Club Bayern München (commonly known as ""Bayern Munich"" or ""Bayern"").

Team History
In 1932, Bayern won its first German national league championship. In 1963, the club regrettably failed to become a founding member of the Bundesliga because the German Football Association prohibited two teams from the same city from participating in the league. Bayern made its Bundesliga debut in the 1965/66 season, finishing third. The men's team has claimed 33 German Bundesliga titles and 20 German Cup titles, reached the UEFA Champions League final 11 times (winning it 6 times), and also secured 1 UEFA Cup, 1 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, 2 UEFA Super Cups, and 4 FIFA Club World Cup (Intercontinental Cup/Toyota Cup) titles. It is the second club after Barcelona to achieve the ""sextuple."" The women's team, founded in 1970, has won 7 German top-flight league titles and 2 Women's German Cup titles, clinching the ""double"" in the 2024/25 season.

Nowadays
Bayern's crest features red, white, and blue, with the core blue-and-white check pattern derived from the colors and design of the Bavarian state flag. The home jersey is predominantly red and white, occasionally with blue accents. In 2005, Bayern left the Munich Olympic Stadium, which it had used for 33 years, and moved into the Allianz Arena. In 2025, the membership of FC Bayern Munich e.V. reached 400,000, further solidifying its status as the sports club with the most members in the world.
