Latest news: The AFCON Organizing Committee has reached an agreement with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to allow fans free entry 20 minutes after the start of matches.

Media sources reported that after negotiations between the AFCON Organizing Committee and CAF, it was decided to open the stadiums to fans free of charge 20 minutes after the start of AFCON matches.
According to CAF sources, this decision is intended to address the issue of low attendance in some matches.
Since the start of the AFCON, this measure has been implemented multiple times. For example, in the matches between Egypt and Zimbabwe, as well as Cameroon and Gabon, the stands gradually filled up after the start of the first half. In addition, the same measure was adopted in the Algeria vs Sudan match (which was originally announced as sold out).
