It is reported that Bayern Munich wants to sell Bryan Zaragoza, but interested clubs either offer too little in transfer fees or are rejected by the 23-year-old Spaniard, as is the case with Fenerbahçe.
Bayern Munich signed Zaragoza on February 1, 2024, with high hopes, six months earlier than planned, and paid an additional €4 million on top of the originally agreed €13 million transfer fee. However, since joining, he has mostly been on the bench. To date, Zaragoza has made a total of 7 Bundesliga appearances without scoring a goal.
In fact, Zaragoza is not lacking in talent. He has even played 3 games for the Spanish national team, scoring 1 goal. However, in Munich, he failed to settle – he speaks neither German nor English, leaving coaches Thomas Tuchel and Vincent Kompany powerless to integrate him.
Therefore, Bayern Munich hopes to end this costly misunderstanding with as little financial loss as possible this summer. So far, this has not been achieved. Clubs like Celta Vigo have shown interest, but these and other Spanish clubs only want to loan him, not buy, which Bayern Munich is unwilling to accept. Fenerbahçe was willing to offer over €10 million to sign Zaragoza, but the transfer ultimately collapsed because the player himself refused.
For now, it is expected that Zaragoza will remain at Säbener Straße when pre-season begins.
