This summer transfer window, Bayer Leverkusen have already signed Tillman and Ibrahim Maza, but new Werkself coach Ten Hag believes the team's attacking firepower is still insufficient and has called for the signing of attackers.
Speaking about frontline signings, Ten Hag said: “Clearly, we need attackers, we need weapons. Of course, we already have some, but we need to bring in strikers like Schick or Boniface; we still have deficiencies in this area.”
“We have to strive to sign players who can make an impact like that. We already have Tillman, but we need more.”
Leverkusen sports director Rolfes responded: "For playing games, it's always good to have attackers, that's beyond doubt. And obviously, we haven't finalized the squad for the new season yet. We're working on something and will continue to adjust the squad."
