Hargreaves said: “Grealish put in an excellent performance. It was hard to say goodbye to Goodison Park, but moving to the new stadium has been a perfect start. Ndiaye was brilliant, but Grealish is a new star player for Everton. I also think Dewsbury-Hall performed exceptionally well—they seem to have more firepower this season.”
“Brighton always create plenty of chances, but they were a bit frustrating today. Despite having so many opportunities, I don’t think they should have lost this game so easily. Schultz will be frustrated with the result rather than the performance itself, because they lost far too easily.”
