Manchester City player Erling Haaland eats up to six meals a day, and his post-match celebration for goals and victories is unique—he usually enjoys a big barbecue meal. Haaland has six meals daily and even cooks barbecue on the grill in his back garden.
Sander Berge, Haaland’s close friend who plays for Fulham, revealed that the two often meet up for Sunday barbecues: “We just eat something nice, chat and have fun… Sunday barbecues include roast potatoes, gravy and Yorkshire puddings. We get along really well, and it’s great to have a fellow Norwegian around—he’s a very special person.”
Haaland’s father previously revealed that his son has modeled his diet after Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo: “Back in my day, I had to be determined to make it in football, but my son has made all the sacrifices—leaving home at 16, and he’s more professional than I was.”
“Patrice Evra told Haaland a story: he once had lunch with Ronaldo, who only ate fish at that time. Now Haaland tries to do the same thing, because Ronaldo is still at the top of football today, which shows how important it is to ‘do the right thing.’”
