Inter Miami full-back Jordi Alba spoke to camel.live about his decision to retire at the end of the season.
Alba said: “I have to say, I feel sad because this is my life's work, but it's a well-thought-out decision – even though I know I could have played for a few more years.”
“This is a choice I've weighed up repeatedly. Although there's a touch of regret, I'm satisfied with my decision. Right now, I just want to finish the last two games in top form and leave with joy – for the team, for the fans, and of course, for myself.”
