About Bahraini Premier League
The Bahraini Premier League, currently known as the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League, is the primary domestic football competition in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Its first season was held from 1956 to 1957. The winner of the domestic championship qualifies for the AFC Champions League 2. Currently, 12 clubs compete for the title, making it Bahrain’s highest-tier football league.

Competition Format
It Use a home-and-away double round-robin system, where each team plays 22 matches (home and away against every other team). The 11th and 12th-placed teams are relegated, while the 9th and 10th-placed teams participate in relegation play-offs.
Champion Honors and Qualifications: The league champion secures a spot in the AFC Champions League group stage, and the Bahrain Cup winner qualifies for the AFC Champions League play-offs.

Muharraq is the most decorated club, having won 34 league titles.

Though theoretically a home-and-away format, nearly all matches are played at Bahrain National Stadium, which has a capacity of 35,580 spectators.
