The dispute between Paris Saint-Germain and French captain Kylian Mbappé continues to escalate, as the Paris Prosecutor's Office announced on Tuesday that a judicial investigation into unidentified individuals has been opened following Mbappé's complaint against PSG for alleged moral harassment.
A source close to the case confirmed that two investigating judges have been appointed to probe the Real Madrid forward’s allegations. Official documents show Mbappé filed a lawsuit in Paris on May 16, accusing the club of psychological harassment and attempted blackmail, particularly condemning his placement in PSG’s "attic" (a euphemism for being excluded from first-team training) during the summer of 2023.
Such practices—including the exclusion of players from team activities—are not uncommon in football clubs, and the Paris prosecutor’s office has initiated multiple investigations into similar cases.
The move follows another complaint filed in May by 35-year-old midfielder Kheira Hamraoui against PSG. The current Al-Shabab (Riyadh) player, who now plays in Saudi Arabia, alleges the club forced her out by excluding her from activities after her recovery. PSG is not the only club facing such allegations.
