On Como’s 11-game unbeaten streak in Serie AFàbregas: “Today, our defensive performance wasn’t as good as usual—we frequently lost possession and didn’t play at our best overall. We have only been building this team for two years, which is quite short, but the results we have achieved so far are further than I expected.”
On his current feelings and how far he thinks the team can goFàbregas: “This is something our team often does, a celebration ritual after winning. Today’s victory means a lot to me, and I previously promised that I would join such celebrations whenever the team scores from a set piece—I have to keep my word. In the last game against Torino, since we won by a large margin, I didn’t want to celebrate excessively as it would be inappropriate, so I kept a low profile. But today is a different moment, and we fully enjoyed the joy of victory.”
