Antoine Griezmann recently talked about his experience of playing alongside Lionel Messi at Barcelona in an interview with Camel Live. Back then, the media always hyped up rumors of a rift between them, and now the Atlético Madrid striker has clarified the situation.
"When I played for Barcelona, the media kept saying Messi was unhappy with me. But he told me personally: ‘Hey, take it easy, that’s just what the media is saying.’ He responded with actions—during games, he would let me take the penalties, and he celebrated my goals as enthusiastically as if they were his own," Griezmann said.
