Club Brugge, Captain Vanaken: "We'll win even without Jashari. If Milan pay 40 million, then..."

Recently, Club Brugge captain Hans Vanaken has also shared his views on the negotiations between Jashari and Milan.
It's not just coach Hayen. After Club Brugge's 2-1 victory over Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian Super Cup final, captain Hans Vanaken also spoke into the microphone to give his take on the negotiations.
However, the situation has been clear for some time. Jashari wants to go to Milan, Milan wants Jashari, and Club Brugge is standing firm on the price. Currently, the Rossoneri's offer is still insufficient to sign the 2002-born player.
"We have no choice but to proceed this way," the Belgian captain stated. "As we know, Ardon (Jashari) is in talks with Milan and currently doesn't want to play with us. But the players who have stepped in to replace him have proven they are capable of filling his position."
"Club Brugge has shown that we know how to win even without Ardon. If he no longer wants to play for Brugge, we'll get through it; life goes on..." Vanaken continued.
Club Brugge, Vanaken: "Jashari's asking price is reasonable"
As Hayen mentioned, Jashari has reached an agreement to resume training while waiting for the outcome of the negotiations. "If that's the case and he returns to the team, we'll treat him like any other Club Brugge player." Last year, he proved himself to be an excellent player who can contribute to the team. If he wants to get back into the club's matches, we'll welcome him. Indeed, he is an added value. But unfortunately, this doesn't depend on us; it depends on Ardon himself, the club, and Milan. Our focus is on the pitch.
The 32-year-old Vanaken himself turned down West Ham United and the financially strong Premier League a few years ago. Therefore, this experienced player understands the situation of his Swiss teammate and the pressure he faces in his potential transfer to Milan: "Every footballer understands this; we all aspire for more. If going to Milan is the best choice for his career, both the club and I will accept it. But only if the price is right! I admit, at his age, I might have done the same. But we must satisfy the club from a financial perspective. The fact that there is no (release) clause in his contract makes everything even more difficult. Now it all depends on Milan. If they pay the 40 million required by our club, Jashari will become a member of the Rossoneri. Otherwise..."
