It is understood that Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka will join Premier League promoted side Sunderland, with all parties involved in the deal having reached an agreement.
The transfer fee is €20 million, and the former Arsenal midfielder will sign a contract with Sunderland until 2027.
Bayer Leverkusen have given the green light, allowing Xhaka to depart for Sunderland today to complete the transfer.
