
The group stage draw ceremony for the 2026 US-Canada-Mexico World Cup was held in Washington, D.C.
Prior to the start of the draw ceremony, FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented the "FIFA Peace Prize" to U.S. President Donald Trump.
The "FIFA Peace Prize" was first established this year and is planned to be awarded annually. It aims to honor individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to peace and united people around the world. The 79-year-old Trump became the first recipient of the award.
