Recently, Marcus Rashford has been linked with a move to Barcelona. In response, Teddy Sheringham shared his thoughts on Rashford's potential transfer during an interview.
Sheringham stated, “If you assess the path Rashford has taken as a professional player, you'll realize that as a young player, you work hard to break into the top league and play for a club like Manchester
United. When you're in such a position, you should be grateful and not give up easily.”
“Compared to my situation back in the day, I find the whole thing really heartbreaking. Think about how hard I worked to earn the right to play for such a big club. Hearing that Rashford wants to leave, I
don't like the kind of thing Aubameyang did at Arsenal. I think that sort of behavior destroys the soul, and I hope Rashford doesn't get the transfer he's craving.”
“From my point of view, if you move from Manchester United to Barcelona, then Rashford doesn't deserve that transfer route. It's easy to spend money on players, but it's hard to recoup that cost.”
"It seems quiet on the surface, but I'd bet there's a lot going on behind the scenes at Manchester United. Other clubs are also aware of United's situation. They've publicly stated that they plan to sell
around five players, which means other clubs will make ridiculous offers."
