In the transfer market over the past few weeks, Brazilian winger Antony, who currently plays for Manchester United, has often been linked with Bayer Leverkusen. He is also a favorite player of the club's new head coach Ten Hag. Ten Hag stated that Antony is like a son to him, but the team has no intention of signing him for now.
Ten Hag explained: "I have signed Antony twice, first at Ajax and then at Manchester United. He has always been like a son to me, and I still see him as a son. He is an excellent player with extraordinary talent. But (as a coach) you must always focus on the current squad and decide what type of players are needed. We have no intention of signing him for now. But we will keep an eye on his future movements."
