In the third group stage match of the FIFA Club World Cup, Inter Miami veteran Luis Suárez found the net, notching his 6th goal in the tournament's history.

Suárez made his Club World Cup debut in 2015, scoring 5 goals in the competition. He became the first player to score a hat-trick in Club World Cup history against Guangzhou Evergrande, then added 2 more goals in the final versus River Plate.

In the tournament's all-time scoring charts, Suárez's 6 goals level him with Lionel Messi, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema, trailing only Cristiano Ronaldo's 7 goals. They are the only five players to score over 5 goals in Club World Cup history.
