During his 18-year spell with the Blaugrana, he made 722 appearances for Barcelona, contributing 18 goals and 46 assists, and helped the team win 3 UEFA Champions League titles, 3 FIFA Club World Cup titles, 9 La Liga titles, 3 UEFA Super Cup titles, 7 Copa del Rey titles, and 7 Supercopa de España titles.
In the summer of 2023, Busquets joined Inter Miami. So far, he has made 104 appearances for the team, scoring 1 goal and providing 15 assists, and helped the club claim 1 Leagues Cup title and 1 Supporters' Shield (regular-season champion).
At the international level, Busquets earned 143 caps for the Spanish national team, scoring 2 goals and providing 9 assists, and won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2012 UEFA European Championship.
