Newcastle United Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa.
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a long-term contract at St. James' Park, becoming the Magpies' fourth first-team signing of the summer.
A product of Villa's youth academy, Jacob Ramsey has made 167 appearances and scored 17 goals for the club since making his first-team debut in 2019. Last season, he featured in 10 Champions League matches for the team. Additionally, he has represented England at various youth levels and was part of the squad that won the 2023 U21 European Championship, where he played alongside Anthony Gordon. For the new season, Ramsey will wear the number 41 shirt.
