Chelsea Football Club is delighted to officially announce the signing of Dutch international Jorrel Hato from Ajax.
The 19-year-old defender has put pen to paper on a long-term contract running until 2032 and will link up with his new teammates this week.
Ajax have officially confirmed that the transfer fee for Hato is set at €44.18 million. (End of announcement)
Prior reports indicate that Ajax also hold a sell-on clause for Hato.
To date in his career, Hato has made 111 official appearances for Ajax's first team, scoring 4 goals, and has also earned 6 caps for the Netherlands senior national team.
