Official: 35-Year-Old Former Juventus Star Miralem Pjanic Retires, Ending 18-Year Career

The 35-year-old Miralem Pjanic confirmed his retirement in an interview with Tuttosport.


Pjanic said: “I will not play football anymore. My career is over. I now live in Dubai, and I am no longer a footballer but a father—my son is my top priority.”

Pjanic's football career started at a local Luxembourg club, FC Schifflange 95, before he joined Metz's youth academy.

Throughout his career, he played for Lyon, Roma, Juventus, Barcelona, Besiktas and other teams, winning four Serie A titles (all with Juventus) and one Copa del Rey (with Barcelona).
