Mbeumo's Add-on Clauses Largely Easy to Activate; Full Trigger if He Helps Man United Win Trophies

The add-on clauses in the agreement for Mbeumo's transfer to Manchester United are very easy to fulfill. Most of these clauses are based on his number of appearances and goals in the Premier League, meaning Brentford is likely to receive a transfer fee close to £70 million from the deal.

If Manchester United, under manager Amorim, can return to a trophy-winning form, the transfer fee could even exceed £70 million, reaching the full amount of £71 million.

As for Brentford, after losing a player like Mbeumo, the club may be reluctant to sell more players. However, although Brentford has stated that another of their forwards, Ivan Toney, will not be sold, when it comes to transfers, all possibilities cannot be ruled out. If a club is willing to offer such a large sum again, Brentford may find it hard to resist such huge bids.

Many Premier League teams (Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham) are interested in Toney. We know that Nottingham Forest's bids in January and earlier this summer were unsuccessful. Besides, Tottenham and Newcastle are also showing interest in him.

But so far, Brentford has managed to resist any potential offers from these clubs. Toney has one year left on his contract, plus a club option to extend for another year, which gives the Bees a slight advantage in this situation.

It's understandable why Brentford says they don't want to sell all their star players, as they know this could put the club in a precarious position next season. As a result, the price tag may have increased a bit compared to this time last week.
