Liverpool have reached an agreement with Al Hilal over the transfer of Uruguayan forward Darwin Núñez.

Following negotiations over the past two days (yesterday and today), the Reds and Al Hilal have agreed on Núñez’s transfer, with a transfer fee of €65 million plus bonuses.

Before opting to play in Saudi Arabia, the Uruguayan forward put forward significant wage demands, which Al Hilal have agreed to. Only the contract details remain to be finalized, after which the deal is set to be signed.
