Real Madrid player Vinícius has been formally sued by Brazilian judicial authorities for allegedly disturbing the peace with a birthday party held in Rio de Janeiro.
Sources stated that the party took place at a luxury estate in Rio dedicated to hosting large-scale events from July 19 to 21, with approximately 500 guests in attendance, including Real Madrid teammate Camavinga, Brazilian singer Anitta, and American rapper Travis Scott. The venue featured fireworks shows, concerts, and amusement facilities.
According to the allegations, neighbors called the police due to continuous noise. After the police arrived and requested the volume be lowered, the music was turned up to an extremely high decibel level again once the police left. The case is currently handled by the 9th Special Criminal Court of Rio, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for November 6.
Under Brazilian criminal law, the crime of "disturbing others' work or peace" can result in a maximum sentence of 15 days to 3 months in prison, or a fine. Local media noted that Vinícius has not yet made a public response to the incident.
