Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona on loan this summer with the aim of revitalizing his struggling career. However, even the most optimistic predictors could hardly have anticipated that he would secure such regular playing time at Barça.

Currently, Rashford has successfully established a place in Hansi Flick’s squad. This is partly due to Raphinha’s two-month injury absence, but Rashford has also left an extremely positive impression on teammates and the coaching staff through his excellent performances.

Rashford’s ability to create dangerous situations in attack is quite prominent, and he can convert these capabilities into tangible impressive statistics – undoubtedly his best contribution to the club.

Rashford’s loan deal includes a buyout option at the end of the season, set at €30 million. However, as of now, it remains unclear whether Barcelona will choose to activate this clause, and there are no signs that the club will sign him to a permanent contract.

It is reported that Barcelona has not yet decided whether Rashford will stay at the club. Some within the club believe he lacks sufficient pressing intensity, and his high salary is also a factor.

If they do not buy out Rashford, Barcelona is also monitoring other young wingers, including Lyon’s Rayan Cherki, Cologne’s Jannik Mählich and RB Leipzig’s Noa Kwarmey.
