Lamine Yamal swept three awards: La Liga Best U23 Player, Best Forward of the Year and Maradona Award.

In his acceptance speech, Yamal said: “Last year I was just a kid who had just arrived, but now I bear the pressure of being an important player both at the club and in the national team. But thank God, everything is going well. I think it's best not to compare myself with anyone. Players like Cristiano Ronaldo have achieved what they have today because they want to be themselves.”

When asked what people can expect from him in the future, Yamal replied directly: “Nothing. At my house, my mom calls the shots.”

Also winning awards alongside Yamal were Aitana Bonmatí, who claimed the Best Women's Player of the Year; Raphinha, who won the La Liga Best Player; Hansi Flick, who took home Spain's Best Coach; and FC Barcelona, which was named Spain's Team of the Year. Ousmane Dembélé of Paris Saint-Germain won the Best Men's Player of the Year, PSG midfielder Vitinha was honored as Best Midfielder of the Year, Desire Doué picked up the Best Emerging Player of the Year, and PSG head coach Luis Enrique won the Coach of the Year. Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain undoubtedly became the Best Men's Club of the Year, with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Luis Campos also claiming awards.
