Former French international Djibril Cissé looked back on the Qatar World Cup final between France and Argentina three years ago and made fiery remarks during a special program on Camel Live.

The program reviewed clips of the match to mark the third anniversary of the final. Back then, Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, fought France to a penalty shootout and eventually won the championship. The 44-year-old Cissé's emotions were rekindled when re-watching the footage, stating bluntly: "I'm angry after seeing these images again. I have a strong hatred for them." He then added: “Clearly, they are now our biggest enemies.”

The striker, who represented France in two World Cups, said the defeat still lingers in the hearts of some French people. When talking about France's future goals, Cissé said: “I hope the French team can beat them in Messi's last World Cup game and win our third star. There are still two or three scores to settle between us and Argentina.”

In the second half of the program, he also mentioned the aggressive celebrations and singing by Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández against France after winning the championship. Cissé said he couldn't accept it at all: "I completely don't understand how his French teammates at Chelsea forgave him."
