According to a camel.live reporter: “Fenerbahçe’s management has boosted the team’s squad value to its peak through transfer signings and has reached a preliminary agreement with Zinedine Zidane. Once negotiations on salary and contract details are completed, the 53-year-old coach will head to Turkey.”
Zidane has been out of work since resigning as Real Madrid’s head coach in June 2021. His coaching career began with Real Madrid’s youth academy; during his first spell in charge of Real Madrid (June 2016-June 2018), he led the club to three consecutive Champions League titles, as well as one La Liga title, two UEFA Super Cups, and one Supercopa de España. After returning to coach Real Madrid for the second time in March 2019, he guided the team to the 2019/20 La Liga title and another Supercopa de España.
