Wayne Rooney recently shared his views on English player Marcus Rashford during an interview with Camel Live.
When talking about Rashford, Rooney said, “I admit there might be issues with Manchester United's environment, but it ultimately comes down to yourself.”
“If you're not performing well or fail to make the team squad, it might be easy to blame the environment for the responsibility—regardless of whether this claim is reasonable, that's how things stand. But I think the core of the problem lies in your level of personal commitment.”
"We can all see in matches that Rashford can actually do better and run more—none of this has anything to do with Manchester United's environment. I might be wrong in my view, and I personally really like the lad Rashford, but I think it's far too easy to shift the blame onto others."
