Prediction: Draw or Tottenham Wins

Both clubs really could do with picking up some points from this game. The last four league games they have played between them have all ended in defeat with more than 2.5 goals scored in each match.

Palace have struggled at home in the Premier League with only a couple of wins. Tottenham's away league form had been strong but has gone downhill in recent weeks with too many goals being conceded. Our main Crystal Palace v Tottenham prediction is draw or Tottenham wins  and more than 2.5 goals.

A fixture pile-up has caused Crystal Palace to have a difficult December. They drew 2-2 at home with KuPS in the Conference League and just two days later lost 4-1 at Leeds. Midweek saw them lose at Arsenal in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals but only via a penalty shootout.

They return to the Premier League after a few days' rest and will hope to improve their home record. The Eagles have only won two of their eight league games played at Selhurst Park this season, losing the last two to the two Manchester clubs.

Three home games have been played without a win and Palace have only scored in one of them.

Crystal Palace look to get back into winning ways but will be without several players for the visit of Tottenham on Sunday. Both Daniel Munoz and Daichi Kamada are out injured and Ismaila Sarr is on international duty with Senegal.

Eddie Nketiah and Chris Richards are both doubtful for this fixture. With five goals conceded in their last two home league games (and two in Europe), Palace will be trying to tighten up their defence in coming fixtures.

Only six league games have been won by Tottenham this season and four have come on their travels. They are apparently getting ready for a busy January transfer window in an attempt to get back into the top half of the Premier League.

Spurs have lost their last two league fixtures, losing at Nottingham Forest before a 2-1 home loss to Liverpool. Only one of their last eight games in the Premier League has been won. Two of their last three away league fixtures have ended in defeat.

Tottenham are struggling for form and again they have a long injury list. The absence of players such as James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski continues to make life difficult for Spurs in midfield.

Both Cristian Romero and Xavi Simons are suspended for this game. AFCON is also affecting them wit Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma both absent for a while. Avoiding defeat at Selhurst Park will at least end their current slump but it's not going to be easy.

Final Prediction:

Asian Handicap:  Tottenham +0/0.5

European Handicap:  Darw or Tottenham Wins

Predicted Scores: 1-2, 2-2, 2-3,
