Recently, Arsène Wenger talked about his views on Arsenal's title prospects this season in an interview with Camel Live.
When asked if he thought Arsenal were true title contenders, Wenger said: “Yes, I have no doubt about it. Some people might say I say this every year, but I believe Arsenal are really capable of dealing with various problems this year.”
“Last season, when Havertz and Saka were unavailable, the team's strength was greatly affected; but this year, we have players like Madueke, Eze, Martinelli, and Trossard available.”
“In the backline, there is Mosquera. Whether it's the flanks or the defense, Arsenal have suitable substitutes. Skelly can't even make the matchday squad currently, but he is already an England international.”
"I think Arsenal have the most complete squad in the Premier League currently. Comparing them to Liverpool—I watched Liverpool's match against Chelsea, Szoboszlai played right-back and
Ryan Gravenberch played center-back, but Arsenal will never be in such a predicament of lacking defensive personnel."
When talking about Liverpool's current slump, Wenger said: "Sometimes, you need to give players some time to adapt; these players are talented. Isak is talented, and Wirtz is also talented. But obviously, they haven't reached their due level yet. Maybe they need to go through a difficult period, devote themselves fully to the team, and then confidence will naturally come back."
