Why did you choose Chelsea?
I wanted to stay in the Premier League: I think it's the best league in the world. I'm very happy to be here.
Was Enzo Fernández a factor in your move to Chelsea?
I spoke to him in the summer, and he helped me a lot. I want to make Chelsea even greater, and I will work hard.
What are your goals at Chelsea? Was leaving Man Utd a difficult decision?
I'm here to play football and show people what I can do. Sometimes in life, you need to make changes to take the next step. The timing and the club were perfect, so it was an easy decision.
What did Maresca say to you when you signed, especially considering he seems different from your previous managers?
We're doing well, and I think we'll improve a lot in the upcoming games.

How much progress do you think Chelsea has made under Maresca?
Defense and attack are equally important to us. If I keep working on my defense, I can improve further: when I lose the ball, I have to be ready to win it back at all times.
Maresca has helped us a lot: we started the new season a few months ago, and we've done well.

To improve every day and, obviously, to make Chelsea better.

Every game is important, especially away in the Champions League. It's a great opportunity for us to win.
Did you almost join Napoli? Did you want to play in Italy?
No, I wanted to stay in England because, for me, it's the best league in the world.

Consistency is key: people always expect victories. I think everyone knows Chelsea can compete in all competitions.
Do you hope to play for Argentina in the World Cup?
Do you want to score at the World Cup?Right now, I'm focused on Chelsea. We'll see about that later.
