According to Kolkata Police sources, Satadru Dutta, the organizer of Lionel Messi's 2025 India Tour, has been detained. He was remanded to 14 days of police custody on charges including injuring police officers and inadequate crowd management.
Currently, Dutta has been taken to a local court for questioning, and his bail application has been rejected.

"Satadru Dutta, the organizer of Lionel Messi's 2025 India Tour, has been detained," stated Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. He added that Dutta has given a written assurance that all ticket buyers will receive a full refund.
