Tottenham Set to Sign Eze for £60 Million, Contract Until 2030

Mark Dealbreaker

According to reports from camel.live journalists, Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of signing Eze for a transfer fee of £60 million, having reached an agreement with the player over a five-year contract. This Monday, Tottenham entered into in-depth negotiations with Crystal Palace’s chairman to finalize Eze’s official transfer.

Over the past few days, the English player has exerted significant pressure on the club’s hierarchy, and the situation now appears to have been resolved.

Last weekend, Steve Parish assured Eze that he would not block the transfer if Tottenham met the club’s conditions. Subsequently, during a conversation between Glasner and Eze on Sunday morning, it was confirmed that the attacking midfielder would feature in Crystal Palace’s starting lineup.

Although Eze’s £68 million release clause expired last Friday, Crystal Palace has fully accepted the possibility of the player leaving. In fact, the club is currently in advanced talks with Leicester City to finalize a deal for his replacement, Hanus.

After two offers (on Saturday and Sunday) were rejected, Crystal Palace’s leadership had to hold final decisive talks with their Leicester City counterparts. Now, a last critical meeting between the hierarchies of both clubs is imminent, and a “knife-edge negotiation” will determine whether Hanus can successfully join Crystal Palace.

It can be said that there are two closely linked storylines here: one is a blockbuster transfer in the Premier League, and the other is the continuation of Crystal Palace’s ambitious squad building.

As of negotiations at noon today, the agreement between Crystal Palace and Tottenham is expected to reach £60 million. On Tottenham’s side, Eze has already agreed to the contract terms and will sign a long-term deal until June 2030.
