Chelsea have struggled since December, picking up just two draws and two defeats in four games. Defender Trevoh Chalobah says the team needs more unity during such times.

On recent form

“We need to pick ourselves up and focus on the next game. Every team goes through rough patches – the key is we don’t let this continue. We need to look at ourselves; we know there are quality players in the squad, and we’ve beaten strong teams before. So now it’s about maintaining consistency. There are still many games left until the end of the year, and we need to stay focused and pay attention to the details.”

Chelsea are currently 5th in the Premier League, one point behind 4th-placed Crystal Palace and eight points adrift of leaders Arsenal

“It’s really frustrating because we know our level and have shown what we’re capable of, but now we need to prove our maturity. In those crucial games, we have to get the details right. We still have a chance – we can’t let it slip away. During this difficult period, everyone must stay united and work hard to get through it.”

Chelsea will host Everton in the 16th round

“We can expect a similar challenge to the games against Leeds and Bournemouth. It will be a physical battle, and the details will decide the result. We know it’s going to be a tough match – in every game, we have to show fighting spirit and intensity, competing for every challenge. We’re playing at home, so we must make the most of our home advantage to get the win.”
