Spanish midfielder Baena is set to join Atlético Madrid as the two clubs have reached a verbal agreement.
The final transfer fee for the deal is close to €45 million in fixed fees plus €5 million in variable add-ons. Atlético Madrid will finalize all details of the player's contract in the coming days, and Baena has long agreed to join the club, with the player's willingness being key to the deal.
