Real Madrid’s 2025 Club General Assembly was officially held today.
Florentino mentioned the Negreira case for the third time in his speech:
“Real Madrid is the only club that took legal action. Four presidents (of FC Barcelona) continuously paid millions of euros to the vice-president of the Referees' Association over a 17-year period.
Referees' Association President Fran Soto has told us to turn the page and ‘forget the Negreira case.’
Who can forget? The reality is that most of the referees involved in the case are still in their positions. This situation makes it impossible for them to remain neutral.
