After a season on loan at RCD Espanyol, he made his first-team debut for Real Madrid in September 2015. Since then, he has played 402 games for us during one of the most successful periods in Real Madrid's history.
During this period, he has won 23 trophies: 5 UEFA Champions Leagues, 5 FIFA Club World Cups, 4 UEFA Super Cups, 4 La Liga titles, 1 Copa del Rey, and 4 Supercopa de España.
Florentino said: "Vázquez has embodied Real Madrid's values in an exemplary manner, making him one of the most beloved players among our fans. He symbolizes hard work, perseverance, humility, and the winning spirit necessary for success. He is a player who has earned the love and recognition of all Real Madrid fans, and Real Madrid will always be his home."
