At the end of June, AS Monaco officially announced the signing of free agent Paul Pogba. The 32-year-old French midfielder penned a two-year contract with Monaco, which runs until June 2027.
After serving an 18-month suspension, the once-elite midfielder has returned to the pitch. He broke down in tears upon signing with Monaco, bringing an end to his two-year hiatus from football.
Recently, Monaco director Thiago Scuro stated in an interview:
“We are delighted to have Pogba join us. However, he is not yet ready to play in the match against Le Havre.”
"Pogba will likely need around three months to return to his best form."
