Oliver Kahn recently gave an interview, stating that Bayern director Max Eberl's remarks supporting Manuel Neuer's return to the German national team were too hasty.
Kahn said: “I don't know if this was discussed or consulted—maybe it's just Eberl's own opinion, but in itself, it's illogical.”
"Neuer has actually announced his retirement from the national team, and then some people say he has to play for the national team—and these words are coming from Bayern Munich. That's contradictory."
