Barcelona wrote in its official announcement: "From Rocafonda to the world." Rocafonda is where Yamal grew up, and he gained worldwide attention after the European Championship.
Barcelona's previous No. 10 jersey holder was Ansu Fati, who is now on loan at Ligue 1 side Monaco. Yamal has now taken over Barcelona's No. 10 jersey and previously renewed his contract with the club, which will run until 2031. He will continue to write his legend at Barcelona.
Yamal will wear the No. 10 jersey in the new season, and the jersey has been officially released. Yamal's No. 10 jersey is also now available in Barcelona's online and offline stores.
