The North London Derby takes place this weekend, and according to Camel.live, Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard is set to return in the match.
Odegaard has been sidelined for multiple games due to a knee injury. Reporters stated that the Norwegian midfielder is expected to make his comeback in Sunday’s North London Derby, which is undoubtedly good news for Arsenal, currently leading the Premier League table. With Gyokeres likely to miss out due to a hamstring injury, Odegaard’s return will be a major boost for Mikel Arteta.
Tottenham may also receive positive news, as Randal Kolo Muani is set to return—he has been training with a face mask recently. The French striker suffered a chin injury in the 2-2 draw against Manchester United before the international break, and there were fears he could be out for up to two months. However, Muani did not require surgery and is now expected to help the team.
Tottenham currently has several injured players. Ange Postecoglou is without attacking players such as James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Dominic Solanke. Mohammed Kudus, who missed two games and did not join Ghana’s international squad, is also a doubt due to an undisclosed injury, while midfielder Pape Matar Sarr was injured in a national team game and may be absent.
As for Arsenal’s other injured players, Noni Madueke and Kai Havertz are on the verge of returning, while Gabriel Jesus has resumed training. Defender Gabriel Magalhães is expected to be sidelined for at least a month.
