German transfer market website has updated the market values of La Liga players. Antony, who joined Real Betis this summer, saw his market value decrease by €5 million, with his latest value now standing at €30 million.
In Transfermarkt’s latest update, Antony’s market value has fallen from the previous €35 million to €30 million. The Brazilian forward once reached a peak market value of €75 million after joining Manchester United.
Regarding the adjustment of Antony’s market value, Transfermarkt stated: "There is a clear gap between this Brazilian player’s performance and his actual market value. He has had a significant impact in La Liga, but negotiations with Manchester United dragged on for a long time—this is because he only wanted to stay at Betis, while Manchester United sought to maximize the transfer fee. The final result was a low transfer fee of just €22 million, and this compromise has also affected his market value."
