In this round of the Premier League, Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace 2-1. In an interview, Manchester United legend David Beckham spoke about the performance of team manager Rúben Amorim.

Beckham said: “I can see signs that the manager is turning things around. There's a long way to go, but we have an excellent head coach who is making changes step by step.”

Regarding takeover rumors, according to camel.LIVE, a consortium from the UAE approached Beckham last month, inviting the 50-year-old Manchester United legend to serve as a brand ambassador to support their proposed bid for a controlling stake in the club from the Glazer family.

Beckham has previously criticized the Glazer family on multiple occasions, urged them to sell the club in 2023, and expressed interest in participating in club affairs in the future. Currently, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS Group acquired a 27.7% stake in the club at the end of 2023 and took charge of football operations. The club also announced plans in March this year to build a new 100,000-seat stadium next to Old Trafford.
