Liverpool Football Club officially announced the signing of 23-year-old French forward Ékitiké from Eintracht Frankfurt. As previously known, the transfer fee is structured as 82.5 million euros plus 12.5 million euros, totaling 95 million euros, and the two parties have agreed to a six-year contract.
Liverpool's official announcement reads as follows:
Liverpool Football Club has reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for the transfer of Ékitiké, subject to regulatory approval. The 23-year-old forward has successfully completed his medical and reached a personal agreement with Liverpool, allowing him to fly to Hong Kong, China, to join his new teammates for the Asian pre-season tour later this week.
Ékitiké joins Liverpool after a season and a half in Germany, where he was initially on loan from Paris Saint-Germain to Eintracht Frankfurt before the move was made permanent. He scored 26 goals in 64 appearances for Frankfurt and was named in the 2024/25 Bundesliga Team of the Season. The product of Reims' youth academy previously made 33 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain, with whom he won one Ligue 1 title.
Following the likes of Frimpong, Kerketz, Mamardashvili and Wirtz, Ékitiké becomes the latest addition to Slot's side this summer, with his squad number to be confirmed at a later date.
