German transfer market website has updated the market values of La Liga players, with Barcelona striker Marcus Rashford seeing his market value decrease by €10 million—his latest value now stands at €40 million.
Rashford joined Barcelona on loan from Manchester United this summer.
In Transfermarkt’s latest update, Rashford’s market value has fallen from the previous €50 million to €40 million.
Despite his impressive start at Barcelona, the Spanish-based management team at Transfermarkt still decided to cut his market value by 20%. Transfermarkt stated: "From a performance perspective, the drop in his market value is hard to explain, but the reality is that his buyout clause is only €35 million, and this factor must be taken into account. However, in the long run, we believe Rashford can rebuild his career and recover his market value at Barcelona."
