A former colleague has alleged that Cristiano Ronaldo and partner Georgina Rodríguez first met in a nightclub, with the latter's purported luxury retail job arranged by Ronaldo's team. Pablo Booth, who worked alongside Georgina, made the bombshell claims during an appearance on Spain's Tardear talk show this past Monday, contradicting the couple's long-standing narrative.
"They tried to fabricate a story about him falling in love at first sight in a boutique, but it's all lies," Booth told the program, as reported by La Opinión website. “Their first encounter was at Madrid's renowned Opium nightclub—this is common knowledge among our circle.”
The Portuguese superstar's entourage later orchestrated a image makeover, according to Booth: “Ronaldo's marketing team found Georgina the job to remake her public persona. She then started working at the Gucci boutique in El Corte Inglés on Calle Castellana.”

The widely circulated story had portrayed Georgina as a former dancer who met Ronaldo at a luxury brand event in 2016 while working in high-end retail. Booth dismissed this as "a carefully crafted narrative," adding: “She's always been arrogant, domineering, and vain. I'm certain she would have targeted another celebrity even if it wasn't Cristiano. Believe it or not, we did have personal conflicts in the past.”
Booth's revelations shed new light on the couple's meet-cute story, which has been central to Georgina's public image as a self-made success. Industry insiders note that arranging strategic employment for partners is not uncommon in celebrity circles, though such claims are rarely publicly acknowledged.
As of press time, neither Georgina nor Ronaldo's camp has responded to the allegations. The controversy comes amid increased scrutiny of the couple's relationship dynamics, with fans and media now revisiting earlier interviews where Georgina described their "destined" encounter in a fashion store.
