Our prediction for Crystal Palace vs Fulham is Fulham Wins or Draw and for less than 2.5 goals. Goals have dried up at Palace. The hosts are struggling to score just once, let alone multiple times in a contest. They are missing key players in their attack and are bound to once again struggle up front, especially with Fulham improving defensively.

The visitors haven’t conceded in their last two outings. They, however, aren’t a free-scoring team and are further depleted on the offensive end, like their London rivals. As this is a derby, and recent meetings have been closely fought, we foresee a low-scoring outcome here.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace haven’t won in five outings. Before this slump, the Eagles had dropped points just three times in a 10-game stretch. In this decline, the Londoners have lost on four occasions, with three of those losses coming in the league.

After being dumped out of the EFL Cup last week, Palace looked to regroup in another London derby against Spurs but once again fell short. Oliver Glasner’s men lost 1-0, succumbing to their sixth defeat that left them three points from the European places. The hosts have also compiled a five-match run without a win at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace have struggled with a lack of depth due to injuries and players going out for international assignments. For this matchweek, the Eagles could be without eight players. Ismaila Sarr, who is the team’s second leading scorer, is away at the AFCON with Senegal.

Daichi Kamada and Daniel Munoz, constant figures in midfield and defence, respectively, are ruled out due to injury. Jean-Philippe Mateta, however, is available for the hosts. The forward has netted seven times in the league for Palace. Eddie Nketiah and Marc Guehi, who both scored in the reverse fixture, are also available.

Fulham 

Fulham are coming into this derby in far greater form than their hosts. They have won three of their last four matches, with the sole loss in this run coming in the EFL Cup. Marco Silva’s men are also coming off a London derby where they defeated struggling West Ham by a solitary goal away from home.

It was their third successive road victory in the league, with two of those wins coming against London rivals. The Cottagers have done well to keep themselves competitive, considering the raft of international departures due to the AFCON tournament. Fulham have won more games than Palace but, with eight losses, have lost on more occasions.

Fulham also have a long list of absentees, with up to five players likely to miss this trip. Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, and Calvin Bassey are out on international duty with Nigeria. Rodrigo Muniz is out with a hamstring injury, while Ryan Sessegnon, also dealing with a thigh issue, is doubtful.

Chukwueze, Iwobi, and Sessegnon have each scored twice in the league and will be huge misses in this derby. Harry Wilson, Fulham’s leading scorer with five goals, is available, though, and so too are Raul Jimenez and Emile Smith Rowe.
