Daniel James has agreed to extend his stay at Leeds United, penning a new long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2029.
The Wales international joined Leeds from Manchester United for a £25 million transfer fee in August 2021 and had one year remaining on his current deal.
In the 2024/25 season, James starred for Leeds, making 37 appearances, scoring 12 goals, and providing 9 assists. His standout form earned him the club’s Player of the Year award, while he was also shortlisted for the EFL Championship Player of the Year and PFA Championship Team of the Year, and named in the Championship Season’s Best XI.
