Paris Saint-Germain Football Club (Paris Saint-Germain F.C., abbreviated as PSG), commonly known as ""Les Parisiens"" (""Big Paris"" in Chinese), is a football club based in Paris, the capital of France. Founded in 1970, it currently competes in Ligue 1 (the French top-flight league) and plays its home matches at the Parc des Princes stadium.

Team History
On June 30, 2011, the Qatari consortium officially acquired a 70% stake in Paris Saint-Germain, becoming the club’s controlling shareholder and ushering in an era of ""big-money football"" for this Ligue 1 powerhouse. In September 2023, Forbes released its 2023 ranking of the 50 most valuable teams, with Paris Saint-Germain valued at $4.21 billion, ranking 36th. As of 2025, Paris Saint-Germain has won 13 Ligue 1 titles, 15 Coupe de France titles, 9 Coupe de la Ligue titles, 13 Trophée des Champions titles, 1 UEFA Champions League title, 1 European Cup Winners’ Cup title, and 1 Ligue 2 title.
On July 14, 2025, in the final of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Paris Saint-Germain lost 0-3 to Chelsea, finishing as runners-up.
